jbird ceramics was born out of a period of personal healing. The tactile experience of making pottery, as well as the inherent mystery involved in the process (clay and glaze ultimately behave unpredictably sometimes), speaks to my curious and adventurous soul. I draw inspiration from the big places and little things that bring me joy. Whether it’s taking a sip of coffee from a mug or laying out a spread of treats, I hope you find a moment of connection when using my products — to yourself, to the earth or to others.
